Merrydowners Morris are a Cotswold Morris side who dance around the Harrow areas. Our season tends to start with St George’s Day celebrations on the 23rd April each year.
We usually practice on the first and third Wednesdays of each month but may take the second half of July and August off unless we are booked for an event. (Please contact us to check the practice will go ahead, our rehearsal room is sometimes unavailable to us.) We start again in September and are regularly to be seen at the Swanage Festival at the start of September.
We always welcome new members or anyone you just wants to have a go at this ancient tradition as a one off. We will demonstrate an easy dance and then walk you through it so can have you dancing very quickly.

Check with Bagman if practice is on or not, we sometimes have a break if we’ve danced at the previous weekend.
